My name is Daniel Roe, and I’m proud to be running for 8th Vice President of CSEA Local 830. I’ve had the honor of serving as Unit President for the Fire Marshal’s Office for the last 4 years, where I’ve worked hard to represent our members with integrity, transparency, and dedication. Since joining Nassau County in 2018, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges we face as workers—and I’ve also seen the strength we have when we stand together.

I’m running because I believe in fighting for fair treatment, better working conditions, and stronger representation for all of us. If elected, I’ll bring the same passion and commitment I’ve shown in my unit to the broader membership of Local 830. I’m ready to listen, to lead, and to continue building a union that works for everyone.
